In December 2022, Luis was given the opportunity to showcase his artwork on the Atrium walls of the Connecticut Department of Transportation Headquarters building. Since the beginning of the pandemic, artwork has not showcased here, and this is the first time that this work has ever been displayed in this capacity. Included in the show are drawings, paintings and etchings dating from 2010 to 2022.

Luis also invited Connecticut artist Ning Jia to display her artwork beside his. Ning’s work reflects the beauty many of us in the building see when as we work to better our state’s transportation system, along with other varied subjects. Included in the show are recent oil paintings.

The art show ran from January 3rd - April 1st, 2023
